MUSIC MONDAY- Playlist update and Review

Hello Guys, welcome back!!!! How was your weekend? Mondays right?! I know!!!!

As the do-gooder I am, I am seeking to make your Monday and in fact your whole week a fun and memorable one. And what better way to do that than with MUSIC!!!!

Like a whole lot of you already know, I am an avid listener of music. I love music a lot and honestly enjoy all genres of music except for Hard-core Rock, I don’t want my ears to bleed LOL. But yeah, I love music, and lately, I have been deeply immersed in it, probably because it helps me concentrate, and most importantly, it helps me understand most of my emotions and eases my mental state. Music is powerful. For this post, I will be sharing my top 10 songs of the week, these are songs that I have honestly been listening to on repeat either because of their message, the feels I get from them, or just because they are so very good.

Superm – Tiger Inside ( I think at this point, this song might be the most played on my phone. It is quite amazing and so well done!!! The rap, the vocals, the beat, the technicality behind this tune is quite astonishing. I especially like how it takes my mind on a journey, it is so fast-paced, and it is exhilarating. Now let’s talk about the VOCALS. Baekhyun and Taemin are one of the best vocalists in K-Pop right now, there is a part in the song when they were harmonizing and the way they complimented each other, Taemin’s soft and soothing vocals plus Baekhyun Powerful range, it’s so very nice to listen to, it pulls you further into this futuristic world that they’re trying to create. Amazing Song )

Sam Smith – Fix You (so, I was doing my random rounds on YouTube and I saw this as a recommended, I immediately clicked on it because well, it is Sam Smith and you damn know it will be amazing. So, I’m listening, 2 minutes in and I am in tears. The original version of this song is frankly sad and powerful but there is this thing about Sam Smith’s voice that just takes those emotions and makes it 100 times higher. The way he enunciates every word, making you actually listening to the song, to understand the message that it conveys, the way he draws you in, he wants you to feel everything he is feeling and so much more. It is a skill that many Musicians lack. Reading the comments on the video made it even more meaningful, people sharing their stories and how much the song means to them, especially people who were suffering from depression and mental struggles hit me really hard because frankly, I can relate. )

StrayKids – Back Door and Any (Would it be a list without a K-Pop song? Hell no!!!! There are actually 2 songs listed here because I could not just pick 1. So, last week, StrayKids released a repackaged album and it had extra songs added to their old album. These songs are all interesting, except maybe the tortoise and the hare frankly because I couldn’t understand what was happening on that tune LOL but yeah, the rest were so good and these 2 really stood out for me. For ANY, it’s just the sound and arrangement, I get this Mexican, tropical sound mixed with futuristic pop feel from it, the beat is so nice, it’s kind of uplifting too and makes you want to dance. For BACKDOOR, DAMN!!!! Just Damn!!! That is a song!!!! Changmin’s voice, how raspy and raw It is, is so sexy and dominating. LOL, I just love the arrangement and how well they sounded, really impressed. )

Iggy Azalea and Tinashe – Dance Like Nobody is watching ( This song came on through shuffle and I ended up putting it on repeat for the rest of the day. I have always been a fan of Iggy Azalea, it’s the way she raps for me, she flows, her tone, and it’s so interesting and pleasing to me and my ears. This song, she did what she needed to do and Miss Tinashe Carried and Ate!!! A very thoughtful collaboration, I highly recommend.)

Niyola – Go on ( Lately I have been listening to old Nigerian Pop songs, probably because every release now feels so commercialized, the days of creativity and actual vocals are gone.  Sad. But anyway, one of my favorite tunes was this song. There is this bad bitch vibes I get from it, like independent, f**K you, I can do this shit on my own and well kind of vibes. The song itself was so well done and don’t get me started on the vocals, I am a sucker for a vocally powered song, like clear, high range, harmonized song, and Miss Niyola delivered as always. Also check out Toh Bad, another amazing tune. Ps, I hope she is good, I’ve not heard anything new from her since then.)

Ty Dolla Sign and Nicki Minaj – Expensive (To be honest, no tea no shade, I like Mr. Ty but um, I only listen to this song because of Nicki Minaj. Her rap on this song is so nice!!!!! It’s the flows for me, the tone, the chilled vibes, the way she delivers every line, Nicki Minaj will always carry and that’s on period!!!!! PERIOD!!!! Notice the way she always and I mean ALWAYS eat up every song she is featured on by a male artist? There is not one song featuring Nicki Minaj by a male artist that she hasn’t Ate them up!!!! Comment anyone that she hasn’t and I will show you the lie.)

Pause!!!! I am writing this post and I am like, is this not too long? Are you still reading? Thank You, Okay, Let’s carry on.

Ava Max – Sweet but Psycho ( I first heard this song on a TV show, I think it was Lindsey Lohan’s show on MTV, forgotten the name and not interested in searching though, but I heard the song and immediately went to search for it on YouTube and I have been a fan of Ava Max since then. Her vocal ability is so impressive, to be honest. The way she sings like I said earlier, I am a sucker for vocals and her high pitched raspy yet powerful voice is quite impressive, it’s almost like a mix of Demi Lovato and Lady Gaga. Highly recommend)

ONEUS – Come Back Home and To be not to be ( The thing about Oneus is that, aside from their amazing and well thought out music videos, when it comes to vocals, like actual melodies and harmonies, they will always deliver. Again there are 2 songs on this list because I cannot honestly pick just 1. The way they sing, to be honest, they might be among the top 10, if not top 5 vocally powered K-pop groups right now.)

Usher – Moving Mountains (Usher has been a fave for the longest time and this song is one of my favorite of his. It’s the way he sings, the harmonies, the background vocals, the soft yet intriguing beat, this song was well produced. It is your typical RnB track but with something extra special, it is so nicely done. The way he sings the lyrics to the beat is so interesting and anytime that part comes on, I just bop my head. This song has always been on the playlist and I don’t think I will stop listening to it anytime soon. )

Christina Aguilera – We Remain (I think this has to be my favorite Xtina song of all time. I LOVE this song!!!! Christina is one of my favorite vocalists. Even with the way the song starts and her vocals enter, you already know you’re about to be taken on a magical journey and you will love every minute and second of it. I especially love the ending, no beat, no background vocals, just her voice, singing, pulling you in, it so emotional, it is so powerful.  Highly recommend. )

Phew!!!! You made it to the end!!!! LOL Thank you!!!!! There you have it, my top 10 songs right now. I hope you enjoyed my reviews, I mean you must have if you read this to the end. Hope you have a nice and fulfilling week. Okay Bye.

Music – Ten Songs you should be listening too!!!!

Hello!!! HELLO!!!! Welcome back to my blog!!! I had a very very pleasant weekend. Ateez released a comeback album with an equally amazing YouTube video that I legit streamed over 10 times, Beyoncé dropped the life changing Black Is King visual album, which is just wow, the way I got inspired after watching that film, I think in a large part, it is probably one of the highlights of this year especially with the BLM movement and racial discrimination, it just sheds a light on the importance of value through struggle and declaring your pride while acknowledging the history of your community. Like I said, I got inspired!!!! So, I thought, it’s been a while I did an all-out Music Blog post, and seeing as I predominately listen to music all day long, why not share something.

So, here we go

Beyoncé – Spirit (will I call it the remix or the remake but lord!!! I felt heavenly!!! That Acoustic Choir moment!!!! The chills!!! Beyoncé’s voice!!! I think no matter how you try to comprehend it, you just can’t. There Is a Power in her voice that just literally hit you in your soul. Like, you can feel everything, from the lyrics, to the beat, to the emotions she is trying to portray. It is just absolutely beautiful and moving. I think lately Beyoncé has been focusing more on Anthem type of songs and a lot of people might try to give her slack for it but to be honest, I think it is what we need right. Those kinds of songs that are easy to listen to, assimilate and moves you because you feel everything the singer is trying to say, the message is clear and very relatable. Again, one of my absolute favourites.)

Ateez – Inception (Now!!!! Will it be a Michael blog post without anything related to K-pop? I doubt!!! LOL!! But my absolute favourites (or BIAS like K-Pop stans call it) released one of the best albums I have heard this year, if not the best, and I cannot keep still!!! So, Friday morning, I am doing my usual social media runs, I get a YouTube notification, BOOM!!! Ateez Inception MV is out!!!! I have never clicked on a notification so fast!!! And man, I was left in Awe!!!! Absolute Awe!!!!! The Audacity of these guys!!! First of all, the song in itself is a massive bop, sultry, sexy, soft, so very cool. Then come in the choreography, the graphics, the visuals, the whole concept, everything and I mean everything made perfect sense and left me totally flabbergasted!!! And I am not kidding you. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NArH91kHoQ) watch and be blessed.)

Sam Smith and Burna Boy – My Oasis (Randomly scrolling through twitter and saw this promo, I thought it was like a joke or something, because it didn’t make sense at first. But when I listened to the song, out of curiosity because as much as I love Sam smith and his powerful vocals, I was a bit sceptical about how well this will do, but then again Burna has sung with Ed Sheeran and that was a very interesting sound, but nevertheless, I was still worried, However, this wasn’t bad. It was actually well produced. I loved the strings in the beginning then Sam Smith dropping his classic raspy vocals plus the beat is so freaking cool. It something you can just vibe to in a lounge, glass of chapman in hand, moving your body slowly. Burna came in and well, he did his thing. I won’t say I am his biggest fan or a fan like that, because I think his sound has been so watered down and commercialized by many Nigerian Artistes, it sought of takes the special and unique taste it meant to have away. Only critic for the song; too short and I need more, more vocal power and more harmonies, if you’re going to do this, give it everything and I mean EVERYTHING. I wanted Burna to Stretch his vocal Cord to harmonies with Sam at some point, that would’ve been special. But cool song though….)

Eric Nam – How you been (So, I found out about this Artist over the weekend and man I am so in love!!!!!  His voice!!!!! It’s got this folksy but pop and soul feel to it. I actually went to check out his videos and he is super good!!! When the bridge for this song came on, I totally lost it, the way his voice soared so effortlessly, with so much beauty in his sound. Definitely going to be listening to more of his music. Ps; I am actually listening to this song right now and I am so happy.)

Ladipoe ft Teni – Lemme Know (Just a nice vibe!!! Can we talk about how clear Ladipoe’s voice is and can someone slap me for not getting on his case since cause damn!!!! I am impressed. Is he a rapper? He lowkey gives a mix of Pharrell and Childish Gambino. I just dig his sound, very cool and his flows are really nice and chill. Queen Teni did her thing!!! She carried!!! “Because I am motherfucking Coal like Wande”, I dig that. Plus, her harmonies are really nice too. A cool tune.

Fall Out Boy – The Phoenix (So, I was randomly watching a stray kid’s program on YouTube and this song was playing in the background, the nostalgia I felt!!!! I had to go search for it and since then I have been listening to it. This song so made me want to become a Rockstar in a band just jamming and singing my freaking lungs out!!!! Fun Fact; I also first heard this in a Victoria Secret Fashion Show program year back, I remember I also went searching it and I would play it in my room and try to walk like Audrina Lima. Lol. Fun times.)

Ellie Goulding – Burn (I saw a tweet earlier saying this song was originally meant for my favourite, Leona Lewis and she passed it to Miss Ellie and I was like, that was smart because Miss Ellie did what needed to be done on this song. A very beautiful tune. I know you’re reading this and you’re like “Aww, its been a while I heard this song too”, well my friend, be like me and redownload it, been listening to it all day and I am in my feelings.)

Ice Prince – Aboki Remix (I was at a listening party the other day and was in this very deep conversation about music with this artist and I don’t know how the conversation led to me downloading this song but…. Oh yeah!!! Mercy Johnson!!! LOL!!!! So, we were trying to figure out Mercy Johnson’s bit in this song and I had to download It again to hear it, “can’t you see I am married?” Man!!!!! We legit busted out laughing at the bar, people were looking at us like we were mad or something. But it just reminded me of how much this was a BOP!!!! To be honest Early 2000’s and 10’s Nigeria music were the best though. These kinds of songs, you don’t hear them anymore. I wonder where Mr Ice Prince is now though?!)

Ateez – Thanxx (See, I very much want to list their whole album on this post but I am just straining myself so hard not to!!! When I say their new album is a work of art, a total masterpiece, the complete package, I am NOT JOKING!!! So, I listened to this album while taking an Evening stroll and this song came on and I literally wanted to start dancing on the road. I am not kidding you!!!! I was already involuntarily making hand movements before I caught myself. Like I was ready to risk it all and drop it low!!!  From the massively hip-hop beat, to the incredible rap flows, to the vocals, to the whole composition. if this song doesn’t make you shake your ass, then the next song will)

Ateez – To the beat (This will go down in history as the first K-Pop Twerk song. From the opening, you are already hands on the knees, waist bent low, ready to drop it down…. Damn!!!!! There is even a challenge on twitter with this song right now #tothebeatchallenge Go and watch people getting their absolute life to this banger!!!! Right after you like this post and leave a comment below of how much you love me *Cheeky Smile*)

Thank You very much for reading. Recommend me, share the link, tell a friend to tell a friend to tell their friends about my blog, I am trying to get fed. LOL. Okay Bye.

TOP TEN FAVORITE MALE IDOLS

Me and K-pop, I don’t know any more tbh!!!!! Someone saves me!!! But don’t… LOL!!! Welcome back to my blog!!! So, last week, I did the longest post ever and a couple of people reached out to me saying, as much as they enjoyed the piece, it was just too long, so I figured this week, I do less, just a chill, cute post.

So, KPOP has been my thing for the longest time especially this year and like many other new generation K-pop lovers, I got into it because of the BTS wave and I have not looked back since. As much as I might not necessarily under what they say (and you guys, I’m starting to pick up on some Korean Words), there is a power of music and art generally that just transcends language barriers. It’s all about the feelings derived from the works of art and to very honest, KPOP songs make me genuinely happy and the level of creativity, skills and hard work that go into their music videos is very inspiring. See, I have started talking too much again, LOL. Sorry, but I really enjoy doing this and its one of the ways I feel very comfortable expressing myself, so. when I start, it’s kind of hard to stop.

Anyways, this post like the title says is about my favourite K-pop male idols. This list is based on a couple of things, Visuals, Skills, Hard work, Vocals and Artistry. So, here we go;

SUHO (EXO) – To be honest, he is my ultimate Bias!!!! I just can’t with this dude. I honestly cannot stare at his face for long without feeling shy!!! LOL!!! Aside from his stunning visuals, he is so freaking talented and his vocals is quite amazing.

JUNGKOOK (BTS) – Dubbed the best Maknae in KPOP for a reason and honestly one of the most popular KPOP idols. His talent and hard work are freaking remarkable. I mean, it is very clear how much effort he has put into his craft, his growth is quite astonishing and I think that’s one of the major reasons why people love him so much.

Rowoon (SF9) – So, I first saw Rowoon in the drama series Extraordinary You, and I thought who is this extremely good looking and tall man?! A couple of weeks later, I had a chance to listen to his group’s song and man, I am blown away!!! Aside from his astonishing presence and visuals, man has a very nice and soothing voice. Side Note, you all need to listen to SF9’s new album “Glory Us”, you will be very happy you did.

Woo young (ATEEZ) – He is so freaking cool!!!! There is no other way for me to explain this, he is just so freaking cool and funny as hell. All the videos I’ve seen, he has a very charming personality, plus his visuals are no joke.

Bang Chan (Stray Kids) – I randomly came on a video about this guy on YouTube, way before I knew before Stray Kids and their freakishly amazing sound. His Australian accent was first what made me pay attention to him but after watching clips about his story and how after 10 years of training he finally had a chance to debut and the amount of hard work he puts into his music, its just quite inspiring. Plus, his vocals and melodies are no joke. When I heard SLUMP!!!!! I was hooked!!!! The passion behind his vocals, the energy he puts into his songs, its just amazing!!!! I STAN!!!

Jackson Wang (GOT7) – Tbh, a freaking multifaceted king!!!!!  HE can sing, rap, dance and he is freaking funny!!!! Every Single video I have seen off him, I am beyond impressed and always laughing. He is so freaking cool, and its that type of cool that you don’t have to try hard to be, its just effortless. It honestly feels like he has a welcoming personality. Undoubtedly one of the most internationally recognized K-Pop idols, his solo songs are still on billboard charts. So talented!!!! Also, in my opinion, I think he is one of the most bankable K-Pop Idols out there, brands are literally lining up to work with him, from hosting to judging to cover shoot to capsule collection or collaborations with designer brands like Fendi, this man is everywhere and for all the right reasons.

Eunwoo (ASTRO) – The ultimate visual in K-Pop!!!!! Like, men, women, boys, girls, grandpas, grannies, even animals, everyone falls in love with him when they see him. He is so freaking good looking. Aside his freaking great looks, this man is talented, his acting skills, impeccable. I first saw him in ‘My ID is Gangnam Beauty’ and I swear, I wanted to be as cool as he was in that series. He is one of the most bankable K-Pop idols, brands literally lining up to work with him. I honestly cannot wait for his new Drama series ‘True Beauty’ I know he is going to eat that role up!!!!

Jaebum (GOT7) – I believe his voice is the most unique in K-Pop. Like it feels completely different from many of idols. There’s something so pure and yet striking about the way he sings.

CHEN (EXO) – Speaking of voices, this is one of the top tier vocalists in K-Pop. Chen!!!!!! Everybody’s Vocal Bias!!!! His voice is BEAUTIFUL!!! He hits notes that no other male K-Pop idol can dream of hitting. Many of the upcoming vocal lines look up to him and for good reason too. When I heard his harmonies in Obsession, Fam!!! I screamed!!!! So, freaking good!!!! no wonder many K-drama producers seek for him to create OST for their Series. His voice is so emotional, dreamy and powerful. You feel everything he wants you to feel!!! I can’t describe nor stress this enough, he is just so freaking remarkable.

Chanyeol (EXO) – Chanyeol!!!!! I still have Stay with Me on freaking repeat!!!! This dude is so freaking talented!!!! Rapping, Singing, Acting, Modelling, he does it all!!!! One of the most sought after K-Pop idol.

Honorary Mention

D.O (EXO) – One of the best artists in K-Pop in my opinion. Like he is so talented, humble and extremely hardworking. Like you see the effort he puts into everything he does. His acting skills is wow!!!! I mean, his awards speak for that tbh, the way he draws you into his characters, the intensity in his eyes, its almost similar to Jung Hae In. His vocals, the Tenor everyone wants to sound like but they cannot. This is why EXO in my opinion are one of the most well rounded K-Pop group in history!!!! The talent that each member has is just impeccable and amazing!!!!

Jinyoung (GOT7) – Another absolute favourite, like D.O, his acting skill is very good, his vocal ability is amazing, his visuals are charming. When I heard his hook in “your calling my name”, I knew there was no going back for me, I was drawn!!!! Plus, his role in “He is Psychometric”, very intense and well-acted. Dubbed the mother of GOT7, he is an absolute favorite.

Thank You so very much for reading, I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it. Have a great time.

FRIDAY FAVORITES – MUSIC AND TV EDITION

Hello again, welcome to my blog and another edition of FRIDAY FAVORITES. Today I will be doing a mix of things; Albums and TV series that I have been listening to and watching lately. But, before that, lets catch up. How have you been? How are you handling the covid19 pandemic? If you are in Nigeria, what are your health tips and routines like to ensure safety during this time, comment down below any recommendations that can be useful, because I need them.

So, lets get into it.

MUSIC (ALBUMS)

This week, I have been listening to a lot of music, I suddenly realized that it has actually been a long time I downloaded a full length album, I think it’s because sometimes, I end up liking just one or two songs off these albums and having to delete to rest (mainly to save space on my phone, Samsung users can relate to this) and I’m always pissed because it’s like a waste of mb (and tbh, I got this same feeling recently when I finally budge and downloaded Lady Gaga’s Album and I only like 3 songs off it. It annoyed the hell out of me, maybe I was just being pissy that day though, but still, that album was cringey.) I digress. So, I tend to download like 5 songs off any album, the title track and random picks, just to see if there is something there and these 3 albums did not disappoint.

  • Stray Kids – GO LIVE (Now to be honest with you, this is the album I have been listening to for over a week. I just randomly stumbled across the Music Video for Gods Menu and I was blown away!!!! Like Completely away!!! The artistry that these guys possess is beyond exceptional. Their craft and talent are so freaking GOOD!!! GOOD is small way to define it, it’s AMAZING. Every track on this album is just so freaking amazing!!!! Their style of music is actually refreshing and makes you feel energetic and active. I highly recommend.)
  • ChloexHalle – Ungodly Hour (I Must say, anything these ladies create will be a bop!!!! Their sound is so unique and spectacular, it will be so very hard to copy them. Just like Beyoncé and Zayn Malik, they have this authentic sound that once you play their songs, you immediately know who is singing. I really enjoyed this album.)
  • Chike – Boo of the Booless (I honestly cannot remember when this album came out but I vividly remember my co-worker making reference to it for a whole week, saying how great the album was and how she loved the artist. I have listened to a couple of his songs before and seen him on TV here and there, but never really paid proper attention to his craft. So, I randomly downloaded the album one time and man!!!! I was Pleased!!! I get the hype. I actually downloaded it for like a month and didn’t listen to it, then one rather night around 3 am, I just played it and damn!!! I was impressed!!!! His voice is so good and calming, it was so nice to listen to. Plus, his lyrics are fire!!!! I hope he excels.

TV SERIES

Hehehehehehehehehe. If it isn’t Korean, I am not watching!!!!! LOL But yeah, you all know I have been really into Karama and K-pop lately, I mean my last 5 or 6 posts have had something to do with Korean Art and you all seem to like it, so why stop now!!!!

  • Once Again – This drama is still ongoing but to me its one of my favorite things to watch!!!! I absolutely love it. So far, I have watched over 27 episodes now and lemme tell you, the DRAMA!!!! The COMEDY!!!!! Its over and beyond!!!! I cannot overemphasize this tbh, THIS IS A MUST WATCH. In-fact, just download 3 episodes for a start and you will understand what I am saying. So, it tells a story about a family, mother, father and their 4 kids, they live happily in a very nice and loving community but running a chicken store, but here is the kicker, one after the other, the kids get divorced. First the Son, who is a stuntman, divorces his wife because of his bad debts and moved back in with his family, two weeks later, the eldest daughter catches her husband with her friend in an hotel, divorces him and moves back in with her parents. The last born is about to be married and her mother is overjoyed and grooming her so, she has a good marriage, even though she doesn’t love the guy, she feels obliged to get married, on their wedding night, she catches him with another woman and she gets her marriage annulled. Guess what, she moves back in with her family and her mother almost fainted. Now the Second Daughter and third child is the only one who is still married, not only that she is a doctor, so her mother treats her like egg and loves her husband too, tbh, they are really loving but they have been having issues lately, in public they’re all caring and such but in private, they’re not happy. They however decided to get divorced too but do it secretly and remain in the same house, mainly because the prize of the house was going to increase in a month. Will the mom eventually find out? Will they fall back in love? Is this family cursed? LOL.  A must watch!!!!
  • Beautiful world – I honestly cannot remember how I came upon this series; I know I just randomly downloaded 2 episodes because I saw from the picture It was teen themed and I was really interested in that genre at that time. I watched the first 2 episodes that night and had to download the complete series over the night, like I was so very anxious to complete the story just to know how everything ended, in fact while I was downloading the series, I went to check the last episode’s review just to see if there will be an happy ending. The Story centers around a family whose son was in a coma from apparently jumped off the roof of his schools building. The police after a shallow investigation rules the incident as a suicide saying he was probably stressed about his grades, but his parents were adamant that it was suicide, they firmly believed that someone pushed him. From the little things like his phone and diary being missing to the way his shoe was tied to the fact that a video leaked of his ‘friends” beating him and also the fact that the school where trying so desperately hard to hide and close off the matter. It shows just how far a parent will go to protect their child even when they knew they had done something so heinous and despicable. It also gives us the good and forgiving side of humanity, that side that understands the pain and distress behind every hurt, that side that roots for others and protects them when they cannot protect themselves. That side that enables us put others before ourselves, even when we are on the edge of breaking down, we believe in the need to support and be there for others. Honestly this is a very beautiful story, you will get mad, you will be anxious, you will be pissed off, you will be hopeful, you will be understanding, you will cry and at the end, you will smile.
  • Sweet Munchies – The Intensity!!!!!! Lord!!!! The Intensity in the acting, the connection between the characters was amazing!!! Its so difficult to like put into words, its something you need to see to understand. So, the story follows a chef who wasn’t doing well and his father suddenly became hospitalized, he was in debt and looking for ways to pay his father’s hospital bill as well as the rent for his restaurant as he was about to be evicted too, too many problems, he was about to breakdown. One day,  one of his regulars, who he had feelings for told him about a show she was about to do, a cooking and healing show featuring a gay chef, even though he was straight, he asked to audition, thinking it was just going to be a onetime gig, especially as she was a rookie producer and sometimes shows by them don’t get picked up. However, he got the job and after the first episode aired, it was so well received that they needed more episodes. It became a bit of a problem for him cause Everyone thought he was gay, even the girl he was interested in, the producers, the viewers, the only people that knew he wasn’t gay was his brother, father and one of the producers who heard a conversation between him and his brother. He was literally loving a double life just to keep up with the lie.  It also follows a stylist who was actually gay but, in the closet, and who upon meeting the chef, fell madly in love with him. He was trying so hard to acknowledge and come to terms with his sexuality and how to get his father to accept him and honestly be just happy. Trouble and heartache set in when he confesses his feelings for the chef and he gets rejected. It’s a very beautiful and melodramatic story, with amazing acting too. I highly recommend.
  • Where your eyes Linger – I think lately Korean Culture are becoming more opening towards sexual orientations and races. A lot of Korean series released this year have at least one queer character. Its actually a nice development. This series is actually a queer series and the story line is so pure and well thought out. However, the runtime is too short!!!! With just 8 Episodes, its something you can just chill and binge watch in a day.
  • Something in the rain – This star one of my favorite actors in Kdrama Mr Jung Hae In. His acting prowess and skill are beyond exceptional and intriguing, his eyes, the intensity, the way he pulls you so deep into his character, its quite amazing and applaudable. This story tells a complicated love story about an older woman who falls in love with a younger man and how much fears are attached to that situation, the fear of being judged by family, friends and the public and also the fear of not being good enough to accept love, even though you crave it so deeply that it hurts. It’s a very well thought out story and even well-acted. I highly recommend.

Wow!!!! I think this might be the longest post I have ever written. I genuinely love doing this and I really appreciate you all for reading and actually watching and listening to these recommendations, the feedback I get warms my heart. Thank You very Much for your time. Have a chilled and relaxing weekend.

TOP TEN KPOP SONGS YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO RIGHT NOW.

Hello, again!!! At this point, for a Nigerian, I feel like I probably talk about Korean Art (music and drama) quite a lot these days, I mean it’s something I currently love and possibly am obsessed with, and I think I am also going to make this part of my Niche, let me convert a whole lot of you into a Korean Art lover. LOL Anyways, how are you doing? Welcome back to my blog, I’m getting a hang of this and I am excited right now. When will I start making money though? Cause man has bills to pay!!!! Miss Rona has messed up a whole lot of plans!!!! Oh, speaking of Miss Rona, I hope you are staying safe and engaging with the recommended safety precautions, I know its difficult and some days we tend to forget or be neglectful but, its quite important we do our very best for our safety and survival.

WOAH!!! Hope you’re not yet tired though!!! LOL!! Long Intro, I Know. Okay, lets do this. So, I think around this time last year, I got exposed to KPOP, I mean, I knew about KPOP but never really paid attention to it, honestly I used to raise my nose at people who were raving about KPOP songs and Boys Over Flowers, I am like, you can’t even understand them, how do you enjoy them. Then BTS happened, tbh, I think the first time I really watched a performance was the Billboard Performance of Boy with Luv, Man, I went straight to YouTube to search for BTS, particular Jungkook because he was Serving!!!!!! From BTS, I wandered into GOT7, from GOT7 to EXO and I knew I was going to be in here forever. So, to drag you into this heavenly bliss I am in with my KPOP faves, (I mean, what kind of Person will I be to let you suffer and miss all this blessing!!! Especially during this time LOL) I figured id share my TOP 10 KPOP Songs I am absolutely obsessed with.

ATEEZ – Answer (Undoubtedly my favorite song ever!!!!! I have probably listened to this song over 200 times and watched all their stage performances!!! I am obsessed!!!! Have you heard Jongho’s incredible vocals? Or being struck by Wooyoung’s Visuals? Or vibed to Mingi’s deep rap tone? Watch/listen and you will understand why this is number 1.)

EXO – Monster (Let me tell you something, there is no more well-rounded boy group than EXO. Vocals, Visuals, Dance, Rap, VOCALS!!! I think their vocal line is probably the best in the whole of KPOP. CHEN!!!!! Baekhyun!!!!! Kyhunsoo!!!! Xiumin!!!! Suho!!!!! Urgh!!!! I can’t deal!!!! Just absolutely amazing))

BTS – Anpanman (Tbh, BTS probably have the best and most lit discography in KPOP rn, their songs carry an extra special touch!!!! You cannot hate on them. You just j=have to appreciate all the handwork and I mean, HARDWORK that these guys do. I saw a video where Jungkook was laying on the floor, exhausted and panting, 5 mins later, man is on the stage dancing and singing. I was shocked!!! Creativity and Extremely Beautiful sound aside, mad respect to them. This song is not even my favorite favorite, their songs are so damn good to just pick one.)

GOT7 – You are calling my name (Tbh, I was torn between this one and Hard Carry, plus, they have an amazing new album, literally AMAZING!!!! (Not by the moon and Poison are my faves) But this list is mainly for songs I listen to over and over, so this song has to be here. Let me tell you, that Jinyoung hook, when I first heard it, my heart stopped and I got wet. LOL. I honestly cannot lie. That might be the sexiest thing I have ever seen in my life!!!!)

BlackPink – Kill This love ( BlackPink in ya area!!!! This song shook the KPOP world and even the international music scene held their breathes for a quick minute. Can’t wait for their new album)

Monsta X – Draramarama ( Monsta X, I dunno why I feel they’re abit underrated, cause these guys are freaking good!!! Like so GOOD!!! Plus, they gave us a full album of English songs, I could be wrong, but I think that’s a first of its kind. Although my Bias, Wonho is no longer in the group, they’re still quite amazing and this song is still a bop. I think it gave them their first challenge win too.)

Jackson Wang – 100 Ways (A new song, but a massive fave. Let me tell you, the sexiness that this man exudes, in his voice alone!!!! Phew!!!!! I Swear I am not trying to be vulgar, just honest!! His voice is so very cool and smooth!!! Like its not the best vocal energy I have ever heard but his sound is so freaking nice, like it’s a mad vibe, almost like Frank Ocean mixed with Pharell. Plus, he is so goofy its cute.)

Chanyeol & Punch – Stay with me (First heard this song last week while watching Goblin, I went searching and since then, I listen to this every morning. Punch’s vocals are stunning and very pleasing to listen too. Its so soft and serene, like I felt at peace listening to her, then came in Chanyeol, first off all, I knew he was a very good rapper and I knew he could harmonize very well, I mean, listen to the ending of Obsession, after Chen hit that very impressive run, Chanyeol carried on with the best Tenor vocals, and he did the same thing here also. Urgh!!!!! The Bridge!!!! The softness in his tone!!!!! Damn!!!!! I was blown away!!!! It was so nice!!!!! Beautiful song.)

Gaho – Start (If you have watched Itaewon Class, you will understand why this song is on this list, if this song doesn’t give you some kind of happy victorious conquer all things emotions then tbh, I don’t know what will. This song gives me pure joy, especially when I feel down, I just listen to it, and by the second verse, I am smiling. Its so nice!!!)

Ateez – Thank You (So, I stumbled upon Ateez with Answer, then I watched HALA HALA and then I think it was WONDERLAND and then I knew I wasn’t going back!!! I literally went to download all their albums. No kidding, their discography (even though they are still considered Rookies by many) is so damn perfect!!! I Stumbled upon this song and when I tell you I felt grateful for things that I didn’t even know I had; you will not believe me. It touched my heart!!!! I felt like I was in the crowds, crying and singing along!!!! Frankly, I think there is only 3 celebrities that I will cry in their presence Beyoncé, Jung Hae In and Ateez but this is a story for another day. I highly recommend this song.

That’s it guys!!! I literally just went through my phone and there are a whole lot of songs that should be on this list though. I think I will make a part two of this post. Let me know in the comments below if you are a KPOP lover like me, your favorite Group and your Bias.

Side note; Where the hell is Normani!!!!!! Quarantine Season, the girls are collecting number ones and my sis is in hiding!!!! (Currently listening to motivation LOL)

Aiit BYE!!!!!!!!

Hi. How are you? And how has your week been? Hope you are staying safe during this time? My name is Michael and I would like to welcome you to my blog. For those that aren’t new here and for those who know me personally, you would be aware about some certain “struggles” I’ve had for a while now. Lately, I have been opening up more and more to people, expressing my fears and issues, seeking help when it all feels out of control and for the most part, sharing has helped a lot. I was never really comfortable sharing this part of my life with people, I always felt and frankly, I still do feel like i’ts some kinda of burden to put on anyone, giving them, some sort of unsorted responsibility and it was a weakness. These thoughts though. But I think in a way, I have created a small circle of people who I could rely on when in this kind of dire situations. It’s been more good days than “trying” days (I don’t want to use the word Bad because of the negative connotation it attributes to something that’s vital in my life. It gives it more power, seeing it as something else and attributing a different character to it, I somehow feel makes it simpler. If that makes any sense).

Aside the help of these amazing people, one other thing that I have noticed helps a lot, is MUSIC. I enjoy music a lot!!! To be honest, I feel like I was probably a musician in my past life. LOL. I love really vocal songs, strong and powerful ranges, I want to feel everything the musician is trying to express. I find that when I listen to music, actually some certain songs and artists, in some ways, my mood changes, I feel better, sometimes happier, relieved, weirdly challenged and excited. So Today, I felt id share with you, these songs that I have been listening to lately and helps during those Trying moments.

  • The Hard Way – Celine Dion
  • Aint that Right – Alexandra Burke
  • Bigger – Beyonce
  • Blackout – Danielle Bradbery
  • Answer – Ateez
  • Boss Ass Bitch – Nicki Minaj
  • Grace to Grace – Hillsong Worship
  • This Mountain – Faouzia
  • Fight Song – Rachel Platten
  • Owase – Benita Okojie
  • Start (Itaewon Class ost) – Gaho
  • Ashes – Celine Dion
  • Rain – Ben Platt
  • Heartbeat – BTS
  • Runnin – Adam Lambert

There are many more songs that do help a lot but these are the key ones that whenever I listen to, I tend to feel better and lighter. If you are going through something similar, I hope this works for you too.

Thank you for reading. Have a great weekend!!!!!

MUSIC MONDAY

Hello everyone, hope you are having a good day?! After my last post, a couple of people hit my socials asking for music updates and I was abit bummed out because I knew I had planned to do a music update post too but I was too busy on Friday and tbh very overwhelmed and anxious. I had to refocus over the weekend.to clear my head, I cleaned and rearranged my room (Guys, if you ever feel choked up or anxious, try rearranging your living space, it’s not just relaxing; it also makes an old space feel fresh and new). Anyways, I woke up around 4am with this intense zeal to do a post this morning, so I figured why not do a Music Monday post, my readers are clearly interested in my playlist, why not give them what they want, so, You’re welcome…. LOLToday, I will be sharing my top 10 songs rn. Mind you some of the songs here might be old (Cause tbh, I feel like music in some way has lost ot art and sense of reasoning and these “artists” are being repetitive and copying each other) but they’re still fun and you will like them. So, let’s get into it.• Ben Platt: Temporary Love. {I first heard Ben Platt sing in the movie Pitch Perfect, I knew he sounded good but didn’t really pay attention to him, then I heard him sing on the Netflix Series The Politician and I was blown away, a couple of YouTube videos later, I found myself downloading all his songs!!!!!His Sound is so pure and very powerful!!!! His voice resonates in the air, it literally feels like you’re flying in the sky when you listen to his songs, it’s a beautiful high. And his lyrics and message are actually relatable and enjoyable, they make sense, it’s simple, engaging, beautiful and surreal at the same time. He is my favourite artist rn and this is my favourite song.
Todrick Hall Ft Tiffany Haddish: Dripeesha {when this song is on, you can’t tell me shit, I’m strutting like I own the fucking world and everyone in my eyesight are peasants. Oh the ratchetness!!!!!!!! I listened to this song so much that I go to bed with it playing in my head and I wake up like verse 2.Its just so freaky and nasty and twerky, its just everything!!!!!!! I really hope the gp starts fucking with todrick cause he creates art!!!! I mean this is album is a massive shift from straight outta oz and forbidden but even those albums had hoe songs in them too, I mean, you had Doll hairs ft Shangela, Low ft Rupaul, Wrong Bitch ft Bob the drag queen, just to name a few, so these type of songs, commercial as they may seem, aren’t necessarily a stretch for him.Bts: Anpanman {Tbh I was going to put up their whole album as a favourite here but that won’t be fair. I still bop so hard to this song. Music defies language barriers. I just get my groove on every time I listen to a bts track; their sound is a whole mood!!!!! I’m actually listening to this song rn and I’m feeling myself so hard!!!! LOL. They’re so good!!! I need a new album tho. Ed sheeran ft Khalid: Beautiful People {You know that kinda sounds that you feel like you need but deep down you are scared that they might not go well together and then they mix and it’s so yummy and delicious, this is me pre and post listening to this song. I randomly came across it while doing my weekly music downloads and at first I was like “WTF” this looks so good, it might not sound great. I finally had the courage to listen to it and man, I was hooked!!!!! They sounded so freaking good together!!!! It was amazing to listen to, their voices complimented each other’s really well. Beautiful song with a very deep and resounding message. The Weekend: Six feet under {This song makes me feel like I should not think or dream of stopping till I secure every single bag….. You know that kind of tune that just motivates you and makes you want to slay everything in your path and reinforces your every decision?! Lol, I swear I get a totally different energy from songs than most of y’all.Beyonce: I Was Here { I watched this video last night and lemme tell you, I cried so hard!!!! I downloaded the audio this morning and I really listened to it, replaying as much memories of my life that I could remember. It makes you think, makes you want to do more, do better, give, love, be happy but it still has a hint of sadness especially when you realize that you might not be living. There’s the quote “You are alive but not living”. It’s one thing to be alive and it’s another to live a life. Ask yourself, are you really living a life?! If the answer is no, then please try and start doing that today.M.I: Viper {lemme tell you, I don’t buy into beefs and diss of any kind, I will forever see them as stunts to make irrelevant acts trend or be the downfall of a young artist on the rise. Tbh, I didn’t even know that Vector had a diss track for M,I till then day this song came out, I was just scrolling aimlessly on twitter and majority of the tweets were about M.I and I was abit worried cause tbh, good shit never really trend on twitter and I’m lowkey a fan of his, I just love his vibe, he looks cool. Anyways, I digress, so, I see he is trending and I click on his name and all the tweets pop up about him destroying Vector in his new tune, at first I was like “pass” but I heard a snippet on twitter and I was like “WOAH, this is fire!!!!!!”. The flows, the delivery, the simple ways he rode the beat, the bible quotes, the clarity, everything was on freaking point. I just didn’t like the fact that it was a diss song tho, cause it’s just for trend and that’s it, no life. But still, a nice one.Johnny Drille: Count on you {I think this is like the third song of his I’ve actually listened to, I think he has more than this or even an album out, correct me if im wrong tho, tbh, I really don’t go searching for most Nigerian songs, I just feel like most of the songs here are over commercialized and just to fit a particular trend, theres no more creativity or longevity of tracks, tbh I can’t remember the last Nigerian song I actively searched for or was really really excited to listen too, and this goes for some American songs too. I have a specific taste.Anyways, I remember a friend of mine was talking at length about this guy and he gave me the song and I was really impressed. It’s like a light a breezy mix of john legend and keith urban. His sound is so nice and breezy!!!! Very beautiful song. I recommend.Tiwa Savage: 49:99 { when I tell you how hard I smiled while watching this video!!!!! I was beyond impressed!!!!! The scenes were very beautiful; the outfits were impeccable and sexy!!!!! She freaking delivered!!!! Tbh, I’ve been abit sceptical about her works for a minute tho, Tiwa is one of the very few musicians I follow in naija and not to be that guy but before the gift collaboration with Beyonce, I was abit not impressed with her works but, she really came through on that project, giving me every single bit of vocal range I needed and she is keeping it moving. I see a new wave for her and I hope she rides it and gets all her high. Good song. Great video.Sean Paul ft Leona Lewis; Good Vibes {anytime Sean Paul teams up with Leona Lewis, they always create magic. Yes MAGIC!!!!! Leona Lewis is one of my favourite vocalists ever!!! Like period!!!!! Her sound is pure and angelic. It is just grace and effortless!!!! And the notes she hits, some of your faves will never hit that even with the auto tune and tweaking…. Tbh, I didn’t know I had this song on my playlist, it just randomly came on and once I recognized her voice and I sat up right, like I wanted to hear every single breat and sound in the song. It’s so freaking good!!!!!! Her tone is just beautiful and distinct. It’s like Beyonce or Sia or Mariah and even Whitney, by their sound; you just know who is singing. Good song.
PHEW!!!!!!! There you have it guys, my top ten songs of the week. I need to get focused on work now. Thank you so much for reading. Please share and comment your favourite sing on this list and songs I need to listen to….
Also follow me on ig with instagram.com/michaelalbert I post cute pics. Have a great day……

Friday Favourites: Movie and Music Edition.

Hey guys, welcome to another Friday favourites post. I wanted to combine both post together but I felt it would be too long and tiring to read, so, I decided to do separate post, which I think it’s how I’m going to be doing this thread from now on.

Anyone that knows me, knows how much I love movies, TV series and music. These past couple of weeks, I’ve been stuck at home impatiently waiting for Nysc and I’ve got to do something to make things abit more interesting, to ease my boredom, so, my interest in movies and music has reached a whole new level. Today, in light of Friday favourites, I figured I’d also share with you my top 3 movies and music albums of the week.

So, let’s do this….

Music Albums.

1. Pink (Hurts to be human)

This album is amazing!!!!!! Amazing is not good enough word to describe this album. Perfect would be the closest thing. Pink’s voice!!!!!! I’m a very big fan of artists with raw, loud, strong vocal presence and very very few artists have this ability.

Pink is one of the very few. This album aside how perfect her vocals were on it, the creativity and sound, the meaning and message of every song its crystal clear and powerful. Her song with Khalid is one of the most relatable songs I’ve heard this year. Her talent just keeps growing and growing and I’m so freaking happy that she keeps putting out amazing works like these. No, not amazing, PERFECT. That’s the word for it.

2. The Vamps ( Missing You)

This was one of those random downloads. Tbh, I saw the album cover and thought “oh, they look cool, hope they’ll sound good” and I downloaded the album, mainly because its an ep, so I knew it won’t be like a waste of mb, if it wasn’t that good an album but it turned out to be a very good album.

There’s something special here. Their vibe is so cool, collected, calming. And their vocals are actually really really good (idk why I’m surprised by this seeing as I actually really like their sound tho 😊). This song with Krept and Konan is my favourite.

3. Beyonce (Homecoming Live Album) :

This was without a doubt going to be on this list. I like everyone else in the world was left shooketh, our wigs and scalp snatched after seeing beyonce’s Coachella performance last year. Then roll in early April, the trailer of the concert came out and the world lost her mind. The movie came out on Netflix and the world stopped. For days, critics, tweeters, influencers, bloggers, everyone and their mama’s hairstylists was talking about this movie.

And boom, not only do we get the movie, we get the live album too, that way, you get to relive the while experience over and over again in your mind. And then boom!!!! Lemonade was released on all streaming platforms. Let me tell you something, the Beyonce team will die knowing that they have lived a fulfilled life with a massive impact in pop culture and the industry. That’s all I’m saying about that.

Movies.

1. What Men Want:

If you loved girls trip then there is no freaking way you won’t enjoy this movie. This is one of the funniest, if not the funniest movie I’ve watched this year so far. Taraji p. Henson, is not just hilarious but cool, fierce, bossy, sassy as hell and I loved it. Her fashion in this movie was killer tho. Like every fit looked amazing on her.

The movie is about a sports agent (taraji) who works in a firm filled with men and despite working her ass off she got passed on for a promotion, in a bid to get that promotion, she promised to sign the biggest athlete on the market. While celebrating with her friends in a club, she had an accident where she hit her head on the stage and waking up the next morning, she discovered she could here the thoughts of men. How will she use this found power and will it work in her favour?!

2. Someone Great:

This story is so beautiful I cried abit. The acting was really really good and the characters where great and lowkey relatable.

I’m honestly thinking of a way to summarise this movie but I can’t put it into words. It’s just something great that you’d feel inside you when you watch it. Its emotional, funny and entertaining.

3. The Third Party:

This movie!!!! I saw this movie on Netflix a couple of days back and I’ve watched it like 5 times now. It’s so damn interesting. The storyline is great. It tells the story of 2 exes who broke up because 1 of them had to go abroad to study. After a couple of years, he came back but he didn’t come alone, he came with his boyfriend who he had been dating for 3 years now. He broke the news to his ex girlfriend, whose current boyfriend broke up with her and stole her money. Having no where to go and a baby on the way, she decided to meet her ex for help.

Now, the boyfriend has always wanted a baby and as he think it would make him and the girls ex feel complete and like a family, so out of the blue he decided that the girl (his boyfriends ex) should stay with them and sell to them her baby because she desperately needed the money, despite objections from his boyfriend, he allowed her to stay and she agreed to give them her baby when she gives birth. Things get complicated when trouble ensues between the couple and old feelings between exes start to build up again.

There you have it guys, my favourite movies and music of the week. Thank you for reading. Let me know on the comment below which new albums, songs, TV series and movies you’d like me and my readers to check out.

Thank you again and have a great weekend.

Music Monday volume 1….

Hey guys,  happy Monday. Hope you had a fun filled weekend. Today’s Monday like y’all know already and not only is it the start of a new week but also time signals to get back to work, new events,  appointments and situations to attend to,  back to our hectic weekday lifestyle and basically wishing that the weekend never ended, fun times with family and friends, relaxation, music, food etc.  Well I’m here to help tide the time. while we all wait for the beloved weekend,  I created a playlist of songs that will keep you happy and motivated, to keep the mind in the grooving spirit and in anticipation for the next weekend…

So without further ado, here they are.

  1. J balvin ft Willy Williams and Beyonce – MI gente remix.  (I first heard this song on Beyonce’s instagram story and when I tell you I was hooked eh….  I hadn’t even listened to the original version yet, even though it had been on my phone for a couple of weeks before then,  I just hadn’t bothered to listen to it.  Anyways, I had to find the remix and luckily I did and I listen to it for 2 days straight on repeat…  It’s such a feel good song, even though I barely understood what they where saying but still it just felt good to listen to.  And it was done for a good cause which was a mighty bonus too…
  2. Cnco ft little mix – Reageton lento remix. (lately Spanish music has been taken over the music scene, its got a unique and feel good sound and honestly with everything happening these days a feel good song is not a bad idea.  This song I first listened to randomly. I tend to download songs and just leave them on my playlist, like a weird person I don’t feel the need to immediately listen to the song after download.  This song I really enjoyed listening to. Little mix brought that sensual feel to the song making it really sexy and beautiful to listen and then Cnco just gave a more of s laid-back kinda vibe…  I watched the video and had to go download the original version which is honestly really good too…
  3. Rudimental ft James Arthur – Sun comes up (James Arthur to me has one of the most vulnerable sounds in music.  His voice is beyond special and beautiful to listen to.  This is like a party jam and his voice just makes it so emotional and honestly takes it beyond ordinary.  I just love it..)
  4. Demi Lovato – Instruction (this song honestly have me Iyanya kukere vibes, especially the beginning.  Anyways,  I love this song,  probably not my favorite off her album, which I’ll talk about next week but for this list,  it works..  It’s very upbeat and has that African feel to it… Like I said Iyanya vibes…  And the beat is just amazing and makes you want to dance…  Good tune.)
  5. Wizkid ft Ty Dollar sign – Dirty wine ( I honestly almost got in an accident because of this song a couple of days back. I was so in tune with the sing that I almost started dancing in the street, ass grooving and all, and then I heard a loud sound behind me,  scared the shit out of me. 😁 Anyways,  Wizkid to me is one artist that has had steady growth in the Nigeria music scene and beyond that too…. He’s made a really good name for himself in music and his talent is undeniable…  Good tune)
  6. Tiwa Savage – Get it now (I absolutely adore Tiwa savage. Now honestly I’m not really in tune with Nigerian music,  ask me about the latest songs and I’ll stare blankly back at you. But there are some artists that I still strongly believe in, not because of their names but because they’re actually good,  like really good…  Tiwa Savage is one of em… Her new ep is really good..  She’s seemed to be trying out a new sound and it’s working for her..  Honestly.. I listened to this album and I was very pleased.  It was really good… And this song is just my favorite… It’s simple, yet groovy and cool… That slow jam vibe and the whistle is pretty cool too… )
  7. Nicki Minaj ft Tyga and Thomas  – I endorse these strippers (I honestly I’ve been digging old Nicki Minaj albums these days.  IDK for some reason they feel more enjoyable to listen to. And I low-key dunno if she sounded better then compared to now…  But anyways,  I like this song, however old it is,  it still sounds good and low-key badass too plus Tyga was still a good rapper here, so bonus….😁)
  8. Wale ft G-Eazy – Fashion Week. (again,  another old song,  probably not as old as no.7 but still..  Wale’s sound is really dope and interesting. He was out of the music scene for awhile and came back with a banging album. I especially love this song because of its really upbeat and fast paced style, it’s fresh)
  9. Ricky Martin ft maluma – vente pe ca (Ricky Martin!!!!!!  I low-key don’t listen or hear his songs often but when I do, I’m beyond hooked!!!!  That voice!!!!!  It’s so damn good!!!! Maluma is honestly one of the hottest artistes right now, the way he sings,  his looks,  everything just works for him then add that to Ricky Martin’s style and you have a hit.  )
  10. Rihanna – Cheers (a Friday evening jam for y’all….  That moment when it’s almost closing hour, tune into this song and get your weekend started right…..  😃)

Well,  there you have it guys….  Hope these tunes help out….. Now I wanted to link the download sites with each song but I couldn’t, this has been my issue for a couple of days now and I haven’t found a way around it…  Anyways,  I figured to make download easier,  I’d tell you were I got each songs and that could probably help.  So no.1,2&10 I got from mp3juices.cc 3,4,7,8&9 I got from songslover.cc. both sites have great songs if you need other songs too and also try imack.co

Well thanks for reading and have a productive new week. ❤❤
